Our Grand Rapids Body Shop Services Designed with You in Mind
Estimate: Our process in the auto body shop starts with an inspection of your vehicle, conducted by an estimator at the shop. Once the inspection is complete and the results from the inspection are finalized, photos of the vehicle will be taken. All necessary information will then be forwarded to the insurance company and you.
Repair: During the collision repair process, an electronic measuring system will analyze the car to restore it according to the factory specifications. This is important because it ensures that the car frame will remain structurally sound. We will also conduct wheel alignment and other suspension repairs as needed and complete all mechanical and structural repairs.
Paint Prep: Paint preparation is a crucial step in the refinishing process for all vehicles. Our auto body shop will prepare all panels for painting before applying primer and sealants. This will create a better adhesion for the top color and then a clear coating is applied to your vehicle.
Reassembly: At this stage, all details and final moldings are reassembled on your vehicle. All systems in the car will be inspected as well. Once your vehicle is in this stage, it means the repair is close to being complete and ready to be returned to you.
Quality Control: Now the vehicle will get washed and thorough interior cleanse once all parts have been reinstalled. The surfaces will be polished, and a body shop employee will test drive your vehicle to ensure there are no issues related to the repaired parts of the vehicle.
Delivery to Customer: The final step in our collision repair process is to be expected. Once you arrive at the shop, we will finalize the paperwork and explain the bill. You will then drive home in a vehicle that has been restored to its pre-accident condition!
